Our goal at Treadz Driving Academy is to train our students to become responsible, confident, and safe drivers on the road.
We are currently seeking a skilled Full-time driving instructor to join our team. As a driving instructor, you will share your love for driving with individuals of all ages who are just learning to drive. You will provide instruction that will help them drive confidently and safely in a fun and relaxed environment. To be a driving instructor, you must possess a great deal of patience and empathy to effectively engage and teach your students.
To become a driving instructor in Ontario, you must meet certain requirements, including possessing a valid G class Ontario driver's license with at least 5 years of driving experience, obtaining a valid Ontario Driving Instructor license, having a well-maintained vehicle with an instructor brake installed, and obtaining driving instructor insurance. You must also meet ministry standards for driving instruction, including having a clean driving record with zero demerit points, generating a Vulnerable Sector Check, and having a vehicle with a valid safety certificate.
To be considered for a driving instructor position at Treadz, you must be outgoing and friendly, have excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus), and be detail-oriented with a commitment to being the best in your field.
